The imagery in this work is drawn from glimpses into the material objects surrounding me. I use these vessels as windows into fleeting moments– where recognizable figures are distorted as I attempt to capture the ever-shifting nature of memory and emotion. Distanced perspectives are caught through the frame of up-close objects, creating a layered effect that hints at the transitory nature of reality and the illusion of separateness.
